Statement of Policy

The Art Technology Coalition is an association of new media artists working at the intersection of technology and the arts. Through both interdisciplinary collaborations and individual works, the coalition may be defined by an interest in exploring the artistic possibilities of new partnerships and dialogues in areas of Industry, Humanities and Science.

• To encourage experimentation and creative exploration of emergent technologies.
• To encourage and develop the interface between emergent technologies and new media practices with traditional craft skills. 
• To foster a balanced and equitable gender representation and offer a place of support and collaboration between its members and peers.
• To develop collaborations with local, national and international partners.
• To accept the responsibility of engaging in dialogues on social, political and environmental issues.
